A guide to getting started with the Marvel for Android

The Marvel Android app allows you to turn hand-drawn sketches and drawings into interactive prototypes, and create high-fidelity prototypes on-the-go wherever you are!

How to create your first prototype using photos of sketches

All you need is pen and paper to start creating interactive Android prototypes directly on your phone. It takes just a few taps to get started. No design skills required!

  1. Draw your screens on paper
  2. Download the Marvel for Android app from the Google Play Store
  3. Open the app and tap the Create your project button
  4. Click the + button
  5. Tap Camera
  6. Aim the camera and take photos of the screens you sketched on paper
  7. Tap the Check icon when finished
  8. Resize and crop any screen that is misaligned and tap the check icon to confirm
  9. Once you've added all the screens, tap on the first screen and then tap the place on the image where you'll like to add your hotspot
  10. Once you've connected all your screens, tap the play icon to see your new prototype!

 

How to create your first prototype by designing directly in the app

If you don't have a pen and paper handy, no problem! You can design screens directly in the app, including access to millions of stock photos and icons.

  1. Download the Marvel for Android app from the Google Play Store
  2. Open the app and tap the Create your project button
  3. Click the + button
  4. Tap Canvas
  5. Tap the toolbar at the bottom to add text, rectangle, circle, insert image or icon, or freehand drawing.
