What are the correct screen sizes for iPhone, iPad, Android, Apple TV, MacBook, iMac and Web?

If you're creating your screens outside Marvel and importing them in, the correct screen sizes are as follows:

iOS-based devices

  • iPhone 4, 4s - 640×960
  • iPhone 5, 5c, 5s - 640×1136
  • iPhone 6 - 750×1334
  • iPhone 6 Plus - 1242×2208
  • iPhone 7 - 750 x 1334
  • iPhone 8 - 750 x 1334
  • iPhone X - 1125 x 2436
  • iPad Air - 768×1024 or @2x
  • iPad Pro (12.9 inch) - 2732 x 2048
  • iPad Pro (9.7 inch) - 2048x1536
  • Apple Watch - 312x390

Apple TV-based devices

  • Apple TV 4K - 1920x1080 (more information here)

Apple Watch-based devices

  • Apple Watch 38mm - 272x340
  • Apple Watch 42mm- 312x390

Android-based devices

  • Nexus 5, Galaxy S5, HTC One - 1080×1920

Best sizes for web-based designs

When using a website prototype type, you're free to use any resolution. We recommend picking the resolution of the device you're prototyping for:

  • 4:3 resolution - 1024×768
  • Common notebook, netbook or laptop resolution - 1368×768
  • 5:4 resolution - 1280×1024
  • Full HD resolution - 1920×1080

MacBooks

  • MacBook Air (Non Retina) (11 Inch) - 1366x768
  • MacBook with Retina display (12 Inch) - 2304x1440
  • MacBook Air (Non Retina) (13.3 Inch) - 1440x900
  • MacBook Pro (Non Retina) (13.3 Inch) - 1280x800
  • MacBook Pro with Retina display (13.3 Inch) - 2560x1600
  • MacBook Pro with Retina display (15.4 Inch) - 2880x1800

iMac's

  • iMac (21.5 Inch) - 1920x1080
  • iMac with Retina 4K Display (21.5 inch) - 4096x2304 
  • iMac with Retina 5K Display (27 inch) - 5120x2880 

Apple Displays

  • Apple Thunderbolt Display (27 inch) - 2560x1440

Note- if you're creating your screens with our Design tool, the correct screen size will automatically be created for you when you select the device type as you're creating the project.
